Our goal is to strengthen the local Magic community. We want this event to be a safe and welcoming place where everyone can enjoy the game together. All players are welcome, and we ask everyone to treat each other with respect so that everyone has a great time.
This event is run entirely by volunteers — no one is making a profit. All entry fees go directly into covering event costs, and any leftover money will be added to the prize pool. Here is a detailed overview of our budget.
While the pros battle for glory at the official Pro Tour, we keep it more relaxed at home: no formal judges, no decklists — just good games with good company. We trust players to follow the rules and not exploit the lighter structure.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to play Magic, regardless of their budget.
That's why we offer a proxy renting service for our event.
Send us a list of cards and we will provide high-quality proxies for you to use during the tournament.
You can also bring your own proxies of course (checkout the Rules).

Yes absolutely! The tournament will be conducted in English, and we have players from various backgrounds. All cards for drafting are English. Don't hesitate to join us!
The event has two stages. First, players will draft in 8-player pods and play three rounds. After the draft, there will be three rounds of Modern. Both stages use Swiss pairings. At the end of six total rounds, the Top 8 players (based on Swiss standings) advance to a single-elimination bracket.
All cards you pick during your draft are yours to keep.
No there will be no rare picking at the end of the draft during the tournament. During the side events the pod may decide to rare pick.
You will have the choice between additional booster drafts, various Cubes like the Magic Online Vintage Cube or The Pauper Cube and fun little Magic mini games (for example Dan Dan).
WOW-Keepers is the clubhouse (Vereinslokal) for various clubs in Vienna. One of those clubs is the Card Club, which we are a part of. We are playing Magic every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm there and are welcoming everyone to join us.
You can buy drinks at the venue but can also bring your own. We don't sell food, but there are various options nearby and we will have a lunch break of one hour.
Please bring sleeves for your draft deck. Also, if you have a playmat you like to use, bring it along. We will provide basic lands for the event.
